Alain Altinoglu debuts this season with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in a program including Chabrier, Bizet, Schmitt.
He also returns to the Orchestre de Paris and conducts in France the Orchestre National de Bordeaux, Orchestre du Capitole de Toulouse.

After his highly acclaimed debut at the Wiener Staatsoper in February 2011 in “Romeo & Juliet”, Alain Altinoglu returned to Vienna in April in “Faust” by Gounod. He is invited back this season in “Falstaff” by Verdi.
He also returned to the Opera Bastille in the new production of Gounod’s Faust with Roberto Alagna and Inva Mula.
Certainly the most sought-after French conductor of his generation, Alain Altinoglu conducts this season in addition to the Wiener Staatsoper, productions at the Chicago Opera, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, Bayerische Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper Berlin at the Opera Bastille.
